Welcome to explore Dmitri Zudov's art

I was born in Moscow 1976. Since 2003 I've been living and working in
Helsinki, Finland. I've got a MA from Moscow Art Academy and I have
graduated as a Teacher of Fine Arts.

I'm working in figurative style specializing on the human figure.
Portrait is my main subject. I'm trained in classical tradition which
contains advanced knowledge about plastic anatomy and special
techniques in oil painting.

I work simultaneously with multiple projects which I complete
continuously with new works. These projects are always ready to be
exhibited. For example, 'Little Stories', a project based on political
news has been on display successfully since 2005. It will be shown
next at the UN -centre in Moscow spring 2009.

My main project at the moment is 'Martyroterapia'. The debut will take
place in January 2009 in Proekt Fabrika in Moscow, Russia.

 'Martyroterapia' is a collaborative work with interactive paintings, music
performances and a sound installation. It's based on the legends of early
Christian female martyrs. More information on 'Martyroterapia' can be found
under the Gallery link. I'm open to all suggestions on realizing
exhibitions in different spaces and happenings.
